Caught another one of these buggers…

There are very few disadvantages of having a fairly popular profile style on Friendster.  One of them of this one.

Early last month I posted about someone who copied the CSS code on my profile and pasted it onto her profile as is.  While I don’t have problems with people "copying" the color scheme (you can’t copyright colors, man), I do have a burning annoyance for people who use my own damn images.

This new case I’m posting about (by some MC guy named Dave) was a bit worse than the previous one - he copied "everything" in the code - even the images that have my fuckin name on it!  I mean, come on moron, you don’t have to show people how stupid you are just coz you lack originality. Geez man, how stupid are you…

What did I do to address this?  Well, normally I would’ve sent him a nice little message asking him to remove my images (and my fuckin name) on his profile, but I was just so exasperated that I once again did the sneaky switcheroo routine… meaning I renamed my original images and created new ones that would take their place…

So after about 10 minutes in Photoshop, I uploaded my placeholder images, and his profile now looks like this:

Hah!

Was I too mean?  Hmmm… do I fuckin’ care?  Haha… serves mister hiphop boy right, I guess… Direct-linking to images is just asking for it, Dave.  I’d like to cut you some slack, Dave, but… I’m sorry, Dave, I’m afraid I can’t do that…
